Delete Your Account

You can delete your My Savaari account and the personal data held against it at any time. There are two ways to do it — you do not need the app installed to make the request.

Option 1 — In the app (immediate)

Open My Savaari and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out on every device.

Option 2 — By email (no app needed)

Email admin@mysavaari.com from any address, with the subject “Account deletion request”, and include:

The mobile number registered on the account.
Your name as it appears on the account.

We verify the request by contacting that registered mobile number, so nobody else can close your account. We action verified requests within 7 working days and confirm by email once it is done.

What is deleted

Your name, mobile number, email, city, gender and date of birth.
Your saved places and travel preferences.
Your vehicle and driver details, including any cargo vehicle registered.
Your device push tokens and any stored location.
Your ratings and reviews.

What is kept, and for how long

Some records cannot be removed immediately because Indian law requires us to keep them:

Payment and platform-fee records — kept for 8 years as required by tax and accounting rules. These are financial records only and are not used to identify or contact you.
Completed trip records — kept in de-identified form (no name, no phone number) for safety, dispute resolution and legal obligations.

Nothing retained is used for marketing, and it is not shared other than where the law requires.

Before you delete

Please settle any outstanding platform dues first. If you are a driver with unpaid dues, we may need to resolve those before closing the account. If you have an upcoming confirmed ride or cargo job, cancel it so the other person is not left waiting.
